HEAVEN 17 to bring their legendary synth-pop sound back to Germany live in November 2026!

What began as an experimental project grew into a fixture of the British music scene: for over four decades, HEAVEN 17 have stood for intelligent electro-pop, socially conscious lyrics, and danceable grooves.

The band was formed in the early 1980s by Martyn Ware, one of the founding members of The Human League, who later went on to produce global stars such as Tina Turner. Together with his HEAVEN 17 bandmates, he created a distinctive sound, heavily influenced by electronic pioneers like Kraftwerk, that captured the spirit of an entire generation.

Their debut album Penthouse and Pavement was an immediate success, quickly achieving gold status in the UK and earning its place as a genre-defining classic. Tracks such as “Let’s All Make A Bomb” and “Song With No Name” demonstrate how progressive and sonically bold HEAVEN 17 have been – then and now.

With the follow-up The Luxury Gap, the band cemented their international breakthrough. Their single “Temptation” became one of the biggest synth-pop hits of the 1980s. The song—still an unmissable part of every HEAVEN 17 show – is, according to Martyn Ware, “an absolute crowd magnet in any context.”

In 2026, HEAVEN 17 will once again hit the road, delivering a best-of program that will thrill both long time fans and newcomers.
