Boot Led Zeppelin -
on a major tour in Germany
Everyone knows the British Rock Band Led Zeppelin, which was founded in 1968 and sold 300 Million albums. They were the most successful band ever!
Founding members were Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham.
After Led Zeppelin disbanded in 1980 due to the passing of John Bonham, Raff Achour wanted to keep Led Zeppelin alive and founded his own band in 1995 together with James Hogg. Boot Led Zeppelin was born!
In 1997 they went on tour for the first time and had their first gigs in England.
After James Hogg left the band for private reasons, Raff Achour had only one thing on his mind - he wanted to keep going because the show must go on.
He got a new singer on board and Boot Led Zeppelin went on tour again, the halls got bigger and bigger and a lot of shows were sold out!
2007 was a benefit concert in the O2 in London in honor of the 2006 deceased record label founder of Atlantic Records and co-discoverer of Led Zeppelin Ahmet Ertegün.
The television became aware of Boot Led Zeppelin and they got the great chance to give a concert in the parking lot at the benefit concert by the original band.
While the original band was on the stage in the O2 with the son of John Bonham on the drums, Raff Achour and his Boot Led Zeppelin Band played outside in the parking lot and got thousands of people to celebrate.
Boot Led Zeppelin is coming to Germany for 7 concerts next year to perform songs like “Stairway to Heaven”, “Whole Lotta Love”, “Immigrant Song” and “Good Times Bad Times”.
